Social Comment by Madame Zucco - The Pharmacist from Hell

Below is a direct quote from the article by Chris McGreal of the Guardian , a national  British newspaper, dated Oct 1. It concerns the US helath care reform bill being debated by the American Congress.

"Reform groups say vast spending, and the threat of a lot more being poured into advertisements against the administration, has helped drug companies ensure there will be no cap on the prices they charge for medicines ‑ one of the ways the White House had hoped to keep down surging healthcare costs."

At the bottom of the page is the web link to that artilcle. I would humbly suggest you read the entire Guardian story to see just how sleazy the American Congress has become.

If you're not already ill, you will be sick after reading this article. It made me want to vomit.

Here's a few noticalbe points. -

The health industry has spent at least $380 million to kill Obama's health plan. How was this money spent? Well partly on bribes disguised as campaign contributions, the most flagrant being at least $1.5 million to sleazy Senator Max Baucus, a nice clean cut looking American boy who  likes to shoot  helpless wild animals and call it hunting.

There are six lobbyists trolling the Congressional buildings for every  person elected to Congress.

The health care "reform"  bill may have penalities / fines for those who don't carry health insurance. I suspect the purpose of this provision is to scare the public into opposing any health care reform bill.

One point the Guardian story didn't mention, were those demonistrations against health care reform a few weeks ago. Many of the demonstrators were paid by supposed political organizations doing a covert operation for the health care industry.

Thanks to sleazy Max and his collegues, the American politcial system is completely destroyed. For a few dollars, Max and his fellow scum are letting the American poplice be legally shaken down by the drug companies and insurors. They're worse than the Mafia.

It's disgusting.
